A Slower way to travel

Hilltop Sheep is a small travel studio based in Italy, between Venice and the Dolomites.
We design private and small group multi-day journeys through italian landscapes, shaped around countryside, outdoor spaces, everyday life and a slower, deeper and  more relaxed way of traveling. 
Days can be spent exploring small villages, visiting small producers, tasting local products, walking quiet paths or riding through open hills always leaving space for conversation and discovery.
Sometimes, we simply stay and enjoy.
We are not interested in rushing from place to place or fitting everything in, but in being in a place long enough to feel it and and letting moments and encounters happen naturally.

About Us

I’m Alex, a travel designer and guide based in Italy, between Venice and the Dolomites.
 
After years of moving through the countryside and guiding across the country,
I started to feel that most journeys were moving too fast —
trying to show more, and often just skimming the surface.
 
Hilltop Sheep grew from that shift.
A way to design journeys with a different rhythm,
leaving space for things to unfold naturally.
